Columbia, SC – On October 3, 2020, Modern Exterminating Company of Columbia, SC will celebrate its 65^th anniversary. Started by George and Katherine Matthews on October 3, 1955, Modern Exterminating Company is the oldest family-owned independent pest control company in Columbia, SC. Their grandson, Glenn Matthews, III is the current third generation president of the company.
