How Modern Exterminating Co Inc collects, uses and protects the information you give us through this website.
Modern Exterminating Co Inc respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. By using this website you accept the practices described here.

We collect two kinds of information.
Information you give us. When you complete a form, request an estimate, or contact us, we collect the details you enter. That typically includes your name, email address, telephone or mobile number, property address, ZIP code, property type, the service you are interested in, and anything you write in the message field.
Information collected automatically. We may collect non-personal information such as your IP address, domain name, browser type, operating system, the site that referred you, and which of our pages you viewed. This tells us nothing personal about you beyond the address you connected from.
We use the information we collect to:
We use the information primarily for our own internal purposes. We do not use it to build profiles for sale to anyone else.
How you opt in. You opt in to text messages by entering your mobile number and ticking the consent box on a form on this website, or by giving us your number and agreeing to text contact when you speak with our office. Consent is never a condition of purchase and we do not add numbers to messaging without that agreement.
What we send. Messages relate to your enquiry and your service: confirmations, appointment reminders, technician arrival notices, follow-up after a visit, billing and account notices, and occasional review requests. Messages are sent using automated technology.
Message frequency. Message frequency varies depending on your service schedule and your enquiry. Most customers receive only a handful of messages around each scheduled visit.
Rates. Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier, not Modern Exterminating, sets those charges.
Stopping messages. Reply STOP to any message to cancel. You will receive a single confirmation and no further messages. Reply HELP for assistance, or call us on (803) 205-2744.
Full messaging terms are set out in our Terms of Service.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
No mobile information is sold or rented to anyone, under any circumstances.
Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are excluded from every category of information sharing described in this policy. That data is not shared with any third party for any purpose other than delivering the messages you asked for.
Information may be passed to subcontractors and vendors who act for us in support services, for example the messaging platform that delivers the messages or a scheduling system. Those vendors may only use the information to perform that service for us. They may not use it for their own marketing and they may not share it further.
You control the information you have given us. You may at any time:
To exercise any of these, call (803) 205-2744, email whatbugsyou@pestfreesc.com, or write to Attn: Privacy Officer, 2119 Gadsden Street, Columbia, SC 29201. We will respond within a reasonable period. Stopping service messages may affect our ability to notify you about scheduled visits.
We do not sell or otherwise provide the information we collect to outside third parties for direct or indirect mass email marketing.
We will disclose personal information or an IP address when required by law, or in the good-faith belief that the action is necessary to:
Please keep in mind that whenever you voluntarily disclose personal information online, for example by email or on a public board, that information can be collected and used by others. You are responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your own personal information.
